I’m an Idaho native, born and raised in Boise. I went to college at Idaho State University in Pocatello. After graduating from ISU with a degree in Music Education in 2022, I came to work at Falcon Ridge teaching Elementary Music and Middle School Choir.

Spending time with my dogs is something I look forward to every day. I grew up in a dog show family and I continue to show Dalmatians with my mom. Dog sports like Fast CAT, Lure Coursing, Barn Hunt, and Agility are my favorites. My dogs are named Nike and Yue.

When I’m not teaching or training with the dogs, I enjoy reading and singing in the Inicio Community Choir. For me, there are few things in life as meaningful or as joyful as singing with others. It is truly my bliss.

I married my husband, Jon, in May of 2019. If we’re not playing with the dogs, you can often find us singing and dancing to country music in the kitchen.

In this classroom, we believe that music is basic to human wholeness, and we regard music as essential to our humanity. We value music as a way to connect people across all time and cultures. In this classroom, we know that music unlocks human creative expression and we feel privileged to make music together.
In this classroom we value emotional safety and academic rigor by celebrating our mistakes and learning from them; we show kindness to one another and to ourselves, and we often learn through play.
In this classroom we celebrate the gift of music and the privilege of education.
