I was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. I moved to Boise after high school to attend Boise State University. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Elementary Education. My first year teaching was at Falcon Ridge and have been there ever since! I am about to start my 20th year teaching.
My hobbies include many things outdoors. I really enjoy gardening, camping, golfing, running, exercising, riding bikes, snowboarding, music/concerts, shopping, and cooking.
I am married to my husband Brian and have two amazing children. Kellen is 14 and will be starting his first year of high school at Mountian View this year. My daughter Vivian is 5 and she will be starting Kindergarten for her first year at Falcon Ridge.
I look forward to all the new and eager faces I see in my classroom each year. Teaching is a very challenging job, but I feel it is one of the most rewarding jobs there is. Children grow, learn, struggle, strive and all those steps along the way make teaching one of the best jobs.
