Dr. Christie Jorgensen, Administrator
Hello Falcon Ridge Family!
I was born in Denver, Colorado, moved to Idaho to attend Northwest Nazarene University and fell in love with the state (and my future husband). I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, my Education Specialist degree, and a PhD in Educational Leadership. I am starting my 26th year in education and have served as an elementary teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. I am excited to embark on my 5th year at Falcon Ridge Charter as the principal. My passions include: attending church, visiting Disneyland and the Oregon Coast, watching random documentaries, learning embroidery, reading nerdy educational books, walking the greenbelt, building box towers for my cats, and spending time playing the Dude Perfect board game and “Totzee” with my amazing family! My husband and I recently celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary, and we have two grown daughters and a wonderful son-in-law. Both of our daughters have pursued a career in education! Our oldest daughter Claire works as a learning therapist at the Joshua Institute in Meridian, and our youngest daughter is beginning her first year as a middle school choir teacher at Nampa Christian School. Our son-in-law works at Campbell Tractor as the GPS expert for tractors and other farm equipment. Who knew there was such a cool job?
Welcome to Falcon Ridge!
Heston Huwa, Vice Principal
I was born in Colorado but grew up in Idaho. I earned a B.A. in Physical Education from Trinity Bible College in 2008. In 2018 I received my M.S. in STEM Education from Boise State. I will complete my Ed.S in Educational Leadership this December. I taught Science and PE for ten years at Falcon Ridge before moving into administration four years ago. This year marks my 17th year in education.
Most of my life I have been involved in sports. I was fortunate enough to play football and run track in college and even spent a couple years on the baseball team. I coached football and strength and conditioning for several years. Now I enjoy watching my daughters compete in soccer, basketball, and dance.
I am married to my beautiful wife Kassi who is a 4th grade teacher in Nampa. We have four amazing daughters and a dog named Dexter.
